Secretary of Publications

THE SECRETARY OF PUBLICATIONS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SEVILLE is the entity responsible for the organisation, development, management and control of publishing and diffusion of scientific, technical, cultural and educational production, with special attention provided for work done by members of the university community.

Its objectives are to edit, diffuse, distribute and commercialise books, scientific journals and other publications in any kind of medium, and willingly fulfil these services guided by a search for excellence while being conscience of the importance of editorial production in scientific, academic, cultural and social expansion of the University of Seville. These publications are peer reviewed and monitored by the Editors of the series.

Founded in 1938, more than 1,700 titles have been produced over its extensive existence. Over 900 of these can be found in the current catalogues which have over 225,000 volumes in distribution.
